Setting the Scene: A Yellow and Tropical Dream
Upon arriving at the picturesque Chuns Beach, guests were greeted by a stunning setup that immediately set the tone for the day. Inspired by the cheerful yellow of the Smiley brand, our design team at The Agency Collective HI crafted a picnic area that was nothing short of a tropical dream. From the sun-kissed sands to the gently swaying palm trees, every element was thoughtfully chosen to complement the surrounding natural beauty.

designed to be both visually striking and inviting. We used a variety of tropical-themed decorations and a palette dominated by bright yellows, creating a perfect backdrop for the Billabong x Smiley collection. Our friends at Backdrops Hawaii provided the perfect background elements, making every photo op feel like a page from a fashion magazine.
A Taste of Paradise: Acai Bowls by Sunset Cafe Kailua
No Hawaiian event is complete without a taste of the local flavors. Sunset Cafe Kailua served up delicious acai bowls, offering a refreshing and healthy treat that was a hit with all our guests. The bowls were not only a delight to the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes, fitting perfectly with our tropical theme.

Riding the Waves: Surf Lessons with Uncle Bryan’s Sunset Surrat Surf Academy
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the surf lessons provided by Uncle Bryan’s Sunset Surrat Surf Academy. Our collaboration with the Girls Get Out There event meant that we had the privilege of introducing many guests to the joys of surfing. The experienced instructors from the academy ensured that everyone, from beginners to seasoned surfers, had a fantastic time riding the waves.
